#MannequinChallenge the New Global Phenomenon

Last week the world was either in a state of shock or complete happiness, as over 80 million of us tuned in to watch the 2016 U.S. Elections. However, the world is now seeking counsel in the Mannequin Challenge – a new craze that has taken social media by storm.

The Mannequin Challenge first  began in America by a group of teenagers who uploaded video’s of themselves being  frozen in action.

Since then, Instagram timelines have been flooded with thousands of people, pets, TV personalities and Sports Stars uploading their own versions of the Mannequin Challenge.

Even Sir Paul McCartney “got in the mix,” by uploading a video of himself doing the challenge next to his piano whilst playing  Rae Sremmurd’s  “Black Beatles,” track in the background – iconic thinking Sir Paul!
