Just Like That DL

The Museum of Comedy is presenting writer and actor John Hewer’s Tommy Cooper production in their first show Just Like That!

Due to the sell- out production at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Just Like That! pays homage to Tommy Copper, one of British best-loved comedians.

The show is arranged with Hambledon Productions, The Tommy Cooper Estate and Vicky Cooper.

Just Like That! celebrates the life and work of Tommy Cooper. The Museum of Comedy is also showcasing an exhibition of unique photography of the comedian, by celebrated photographer John Claridge.

There is also original handmade props that belonged to the comedian on display at The Museum of Comedy as well.

Tommy Cooper was a comedy genius. The production is to commemorate 30 years since his passing. Just Like That! captures the magic and wittiness of UK’s top comedian.

John Hewer graduated from Northumbria University and holds a BA Hons. in Drama and Scriptwriting as well as completing the prestigious Royal Court Young Writer’s Programme and Soho Theatre Writer’s Lab. John is co-Artistic Director of Hambledon Productions, alongside his sister Rachael Hewer.
